Germany LFGB (LMBG) Certification
In September 2005, German new food and beverages law LGFB replaced older LMBG. It is also known as <Food, Tobacco products, Cosmetics, and Other Daily Consuming Management Act>, and it is Germany's most important food safety management act, serving as the core of other hygiene laws, regulations, and guidelines. But in recent years it has also been revised to match European standards. The act regulates, in all aspects, of food in Germany.
All the food and all food-related commodities must meet the basic requirements. Food contacting materials must pass related tests, to be consistent with the German <food and commodities law> article 10 and article 31. After satisfying all the requirements, a test report will be issued by LFGB saying “The product does not contain chemical hazardous material.” And ready for sale on the German market.
FDA Certification
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or USFDA) is a federal agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, one of the United States federal executive departments.
The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the control and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements, prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs (medications), vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, blood transfusions, medical devices, electromagnetic radiation emitting devices (ERED), cosmetics, animal foods & feed and veterinary products. As of 2017, 3/4th of the FDA budget (approximately $700 million) is funded by the pharmaceutical companies due to the Prescription Drug User Fee Act.
